Chocolate Bake-Off Entry Form

The Village Chocolate Fest Bake-Off Contest is open for all bakers to compete for recognition for the “Best Chocolate Dessert in the Village”. A panel of professional bakers will serve as judges and the top three desserts will be selected. This year’s judges hold professional positions at:
1. The Holly Inn, Pinehurst Resort
2. Sandhills Community College Culinary Department
3. PineCrest Inn
After the judging, spectators with a tasting ticket will be invited to taste entries and cast a vote for the People’s Choice for Best Chocolate Dessert.
All Winners will be announced at the Pinecrest Inn at 1:30 pm on February 4th.

All bakers are welcome and encouraged to participate in the inaugural event.

Application Fee is $5 per dessert. Participant should prepare 3 presentation servings for judging and 50 bite size servings for public tasting and voting. Bite size should be a minimum of 1” square, ample size for the consumer to sample.

Applications will be accepted until Noon on Friday, February 3rd, to allow ample space for all competitors. You may secure your application by paying the entry fee of $5 via credit card or paypal by selecting the button below
